  Over 1000 unique callsigns in 3 hours really is some achievement. The organisers and net controllers do a fantastic job. I had some fantastic contacts on a previous 145 Alive event, Devon and Scotland from a take off point in North Wales. The idea of the certification for 50 / 100 days of contacts between events is a cracking idea. Great support MLS and Station Master. Well done to the winners, great prizes!!   Absolutely love the 145Alive events. We could do with some more SSB stations though. Big thumbs up to the organisers and to MLS for the giveaway.

  Nice video, a little disappointed that it took the ML&amp;s presenter to mention Tim G5TM and not the 2 chaps that actually took over. Tim set up 145 alive off his own back and started off with small events which grew in size and popularity before being taken over.<br>TIM deserved a bigger mention.<br>So well done Tim for kicking 145 off.

  I remember my Dad in the 80&apos;s calling CQ on 2m often and getting lots of contacts. love this initiative, get out and use it.
