  It's fascinating discovering how much their family and friends contributed to the investigation. To be grieving such a heinous crime and to choose to fight and find strength in their love like that is both inspiring and tragic.

  The most respectful thing we can do for Kaylee, Madison, Xana, and Ethan is to never say his name again. It gives him the fame and attention he craves, while disrespecting the lives he took. We should refer to him by his prison number, not his name.

  Kaylee's sister gave THE most important victim statement EVER.... attacked Kohberger's self-perceived intelligence, calling him "a delusional, pathetic, hypochondriac loser" who thought he was smarter than everyone else. She concluded by stating that if he hadn't attacked them in their sleep, Kaylee would have fought back fiercely. SHE IS A FORCE....still have goosebumps hearing her thoughts and the presentation of them were something I shall NOT forget...your sisters shine their on you...amen to you!!!!!!

  If he would’ve remembered to grab that knife sheath…. I have no doubts there would have been more victims as time went by.

  Of many cases I heard this one stuck with me the hardest and filled me with fear. Because my daughter and stepson were their age at the time. Similar larger than life personalities. It was their first years of college just after this happened. I opted to pay for off campus housing for both with my wife. We adopted a German Shepard and trained him. I came over everyday to feed and walk him, admittedly this was more so because I love the little guy, I installed deadbolts, no sliding doors,  we installed doorbell cameras cameras, floodlights, and encourage them to share location with friends not me or my wife, just so long as someone knows where they are. I gave them tazers, had them take a class, and told them to call me if they need me to drive them home, no questions asked, though it would be a long wait. Maybe I'm paranoid, but as a father this one just terrified me.

  As a former defence attorney, I understand why the Prosecution accepted the Plea deal. It's the quickest, least risky way to handle the case whilst achieving the best possible outcome. BUT, I've never heard of a case where the families were not consulted  before accepting the Plea! And I don't believe for a minute that Kohberger won't appeal his  conviction & sentence within a year! Question: if Kohberger doesn't deserve the de*ath penalty, who does???

  I love Peter Vansant. He's an amazing journalist and this case has stuck with me as well since the beginning. I just sincerely hope and pray that the families will soon be able to mourn  and take on the journey to healing. ❤
