  ive never heard mainstream biblical scholars claim that jesus wasn’t a real person or that the letters in the nt were completely altered in the 3rd century.. &nbsp;<br><br>the issue is whether what is claimed in the books of the bible are true.

  Before one delves into the church fathers, We should come to terms with the subtle differences in the bibles. I noticed Jay sighted the new king James or Wilcox and Hort. What differences are there between this particular bible and the received text.?   By and large, humans don&apos;t know what a history is and how shall it be written and conveyed. Among all the civilizations and nations ever existed on the surface of earth, there are only 2 sets of rather complete history, namely, the Chinese history and the Jewish history. Both are canonized (I doubt you even know its significance) and involve the applying of maximum human effort and capability. All other histories are either broken or non-existent. A legitimate history needs to be canonized. If there&apos;s no canonization there&apos;s no Chinese history, that&apos;s its significance. The Canon also needs to be enforced by an authority for the resources and continued effort for a history a pass along humanity and remain as intact as possible by human capability. Such an authority is the successive Chinese Governments. <br> <br>Jewish history the as the counter part of the Chinese history works in a similar fashion. The authority started with King Hezekiah. In Jewish customs it is said that 17 out of the 24 canonical books are with a seal of King Hezekiah. Ezra was then authorized to upkeep the books, as humans will fail it without such an upkeeping especially after an exile where a central authority does not exist. After Ezra there are 22 books canonized, all written in Hebrew. Then the upkeeping and keeping authority falls to the hands of the Pharisees. 2 more books written in Aramaic were added to form the 24 book Jewish OT Canon. <br> <br>This says, there is s model or methodology how a history is deemed legitimate for humans to extract information from. It involves a canonization and the keeping and upkeeping by an authenticated authority with continuity. To put it another way, the Bible was written with maximum human effort and capability for humans to extract information (about God and His intend) from. You failed to get to know such a methodology of legitimacy simply because the incapable humans can only have the Chinese set of history to be used for a comparison. To dive deeper spiritually, humans keep listening but do not comprehend; keep looking but not understand because the god of this world has blinded the minds of men.

  Jay can you help? <br>My girlfriend keeps telling me the Bible especially John’s works were written by men, the Bible was corrupted and was written to keep women down and oppressed and that Mary Magdalene was demonized contrary to reality, also to keep women subjugated. She’s saying she married Jesus.<br><br>Can you refute this narrative ?
