  Level 16 was the most disgusting, shameless cash grab of a move I’ve ever seen from a large developer. Level 14 was hated, level 15 was somehow even worse, and at the height of the games popularity (and revenue), they decide to trade all their popularity and hype to squeeze as much money as possible from players. Not to mention the horrible addition of heroes along with it.<br>The spike in revenue should have meant they could focus entirely on making the game better

  The compensation after the lvl 16 debacle was a joke. Sure, some people got very good stuff, but they hyped it up like nothing else before only to give around 98% to 99% of active players a handful of gems was bs. And the grand finale, the big reveal at the end was... something that made absolute no difference to anyone and should have been done years ago.<br>That was a real 100% clash royal move. Absolutely brainless.

  The combination of level 16 and heroes was enough to make me quit the game, despite having a near-maxed main deck before level 16. It felt like reaching the point where I could try to become truly skilled at the game was near-impossible without spending insane amounts of money due to how underleveled my cards were on ladder.

  They should’ve just said every 3 years we’ll add another max level. At least that way people will know what to expect and can plan around it. Instead of wasting a lot of time and money of people who somehow care about the game
