"If you were in an accident I wouldn't stop for red lights" is my favorite way I've seen someone tell someone they loved them other than, "As you wish".

The Filibuster is one of my favourites, along with the Presidential debate and The Supremes. Such clever writing, and the best ensemble cast ever.

 "Hey Morton."
"Wow!"
"Well said."
I just love the writing on this show. I get a kick out of how Bartlet shows, from time to time, his wonderfully dry sense of humor.

President Bartlett passing down an heirloom knife made by Paul Revere to Charlie will forever make me cry.

Same with John Dutton giving Rip his own house and putting in that letter he did have enough sons, after all.

And I still tear up over the Paul Revere knife. The relationship between President Bartlet and Charlie Young was just precious.

Thank you, Mr. Sorkin for the show for the lines you have your writers create for the show because when they all show up, they not only deliver, but they get to the heart of which truth and the matter of circumstances that I know can be a part of the White House. Thank you so much and now just seeing Martin Sheen enter the scene in New Hampshire and the second season oh how wonderful he opens up the room again I thank you.🥰❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍

I miss the days when the adults were in charge, even on a TV show about the adults being in charge.

If that Paul Revere knife had been real, at auction it could fetch as much as one million dollars (‘one millllyun dollars!’ - Dr Evil).

Pretty thoughtful gift there!

God, that last scene. The cut to show Bartlett sitting by himself across from no one. Poignant.
