I honestly love how Polka-Dot Man was in The Suicide Squad. He became one of my favourite villains afterwards, honestly so sad that he died

I think polka dot man is a fascinating adaptation. I really like it, even if its officially unfaithful to source material. Proof that faithfulness to source material isnt always best for undeveloped characters like him

21:57 What makes it even worse is that they didn’t even use any Flash villains, in a Flash film.

Black mask should have been called a guy who owns a black mask

So many adaptations love to use old and obscure comic characters for very minor background characters so they can have random easter eggs that won't go anywhere.

Maybe the real Doomsday was the friends we made along the way.

You know these characters are poorly adapted when Fantagonistic starts with the images from the comics and you have no idea who's the movie version.

I think Polkadot man definitely benefited from the alteration as it made him a lot more sympathetic and engaging. I kind of put his adaption in the same class as someone like Mr Freeze. It’s technically the original version of the character, but it benefited that character and made them more interesting

For me personally, as someone who used Only watch the films and I was only familiar with the films is extremely frustrating when you go into the comics and then you see A character with the same name as a random character in the background of the films And then it turns out then the original comics they actually had an original storyline that sounded 1000 times better than the actual film we got

The Arrowverse is how I was introduced to a lot of DC characters, so I would love to see how well/poorly they were adapted from the comics

In fariness to Bloodsport, Idris Elba WAS supposed to be a recast but they didn't want to leave Will Smith completely out so they basically changed the character's name without really needing to rewrite the script.
