  They should be expelled from the EPL as soon as the appeal is over, for 10 years whilst we deal with damage of 2009 to 2018, then 2018 to 2026. Imagine a bank robber not only getting to keep the stolen money, but then going into work at the bank the next day and carrying on as normal.

  Sadly with the way the world has gone in the past 30 years, the rich and powerful always get away with minimal punishment, while the common person gets hit hard for minor offences

  If we think City are going to keep the legal battle going and going with appeal after appeal and then going to the High Court etc, they should just be suspended from the PL until the case is resolved. That’d make them want to get it resolved as soon as possible.

  Should be expelled from the EPL and the owners forced to sell up. Then start again in National League or similar. Some good can come of it then by putting a pile of money into the lower leagues. A bit like when Rangers were relegated to Scottish League 2

  One relegation to the Championship is an absurdly light sporting sanction. <br>Forced change of ownership/club sale; Down to Div 2; 5yrs transfer ban; and £comp to the affected clubs. <br>They would lose their top players and sponsors and have to effectively start again. <br>That’s a balanced and appropriate sanction package in the circumstances.
