  Let's put this in a simulation and test the hypothesis shall we? Let's assume that everything shared herein are true. Facts. She cheated, I managed to remain loyal although I had a few close calls over the years. I don't like or condone cheating, that's so not me. She attempted to open the relationship, gave "permission" for me to go explore (instead of addressing her cheating) but quickly adds with puppy eyes "you'd never do that to me 🥺". This is not gender-spacific btw, could be the otherwar round too. There's no stock in emotional immaturity or disregulation. So... I'd know to play her like a fiddle, keep her hooked with push-pull dynamics, discreet erosion of her self-worth corrected with validation from ME, keep her on the side as an option, gaslight, manipulate, oppress, imprison. What'd that make ME? If keeping her is losing myself, my choice is going to be me 100 out of 100 times. There are more important things in life than 'keeping the little woman'. Cheerio and farewell to her if she's not going to stay on her free will. Love that doesn't survive freedom isn't worth keeping. Release them into the wild. 🖖
