Referring to randy as grease is much better than pinning the crime of Duke Nukem forever on hatsune miku

I had a headcanon when I was younger that the suit batteries worked by charging a layer of a non-Newtonian fluid similar to Oobleck, but filled with magnetized particles. When an impact is detected, the suit rapidly pulses an electric current through the fluid layer, slowing the bullet down like anti-lock brakes on a car.

Dunno how well that would work IRL, though.

I also find it very amusing how Gearbox recy- "recreated" the final boss of this game for Borderlands 1's final encounter.

"Welcome to the Marines, kids. Where we shoot, burn, electrocute, and expose you to toxic radiation." I think that's how they trained the Master Chief.

I still remember when they updated the game 20 fucking years later finally allowing mac players to beat the game and improving the npc pathfinding, allowing you to more easily bring entire squads of soldiers across levels.

This is game is tied with Half Life 2 as my favorite Half Life game. The reason is because the amount of unique weapons and things you can do felt like a giant improvement in the Half Life formula. Such a shame they never used some of the stuff in this game for future use.
