The old Amazigh name of Casablanca before colonization was Anfa (in Amazigh), btw, Portugal was only in the ports, not the entire city. Now Anfa is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in Casablanca.

You can actually go in to the hassan 2 mosque. You buy a tour ticket for 120 dh and you do the full tour of the mosque with a guide you can also use the hammam inside the mosque. It's amazing inside its one the most beautiful building you will ever see .simply stunning
