It becomes funny the moment he essentially starts begging for games to be greedy capitalists lol

I just realised... Genshin, or legit any of the Hoyo games, have never outright asked me for money the same way other games with Micro transactions do, like, it's never in you face, "guve us your money for this shiney thing", it's more subtle...huh, who'd have thunk it

He never learned that gacha game lesson Gigguk learned years ago, these games don't make money by outright asking for money, the big thing they ask for is your time.

He said he wanted to give games a chance, have fun, and that he'd only move to another game if a top-up pops up. But it all turned into endless skipping and searching manually for the shop, then complaining there's a shop 😔

I love how he basically represented the normies side of gamer about gacha game where they thought every single thing want you to spend money for progression especially in the big 2026

It's like Free to play path is kinda nonexistent to them lmao like a kryptonite. Where the word gacha and free to play can't coexist

 No. That's the thing.
The ones we consider Gacha Games like Genshin, WuWa, HSR, ZZZ they don't ASK you for money outright. They just give you a price when you are out of the currency.
They don't ask you for Money, they ask you if you want to make a Purchase when you're trying to do something that requires you to pay money.

What we usually understand under "Asking you for Money" is an outright pop-up that tells you "GREAT OFFER! PURCHASE IN THE NEXT 2 HOURS TO GET 90% OFF ON THIS BUNDLE!"
