I love this show but it always baffles me that people volontarely buy an ''ugly'' house and then move in and touch nothing for a long period of time ? Some people have been living there for years and it never crossed their mind to at least take down the nicotine drenched wallpaper or the piss filled carpet in the bathroom ??? How ????

WTF? People complain about cookie cutter houses, then when there is a house that is different, they call it ugly.<br>BTW, that one house does not look like a church. It's just a big ranch house.

The size of American houses amazes me, I would never buy such a large house with high ceilings, the maintenance and cleaning… Love the personality of the host and her colorful dresses!

So many cool things about those houses. They're weird and unique; not really ugly.

I hope the second house wins the makeover. Give the grandparents a proper living space and redo the kitchen.
