Jack Benny's sidekick, Dennis Day, was a business partner of my father. Day had nearly a dozen children.

I didn't bother to watch it because I knew it was all fake. But I did look up Jack Benny's house. It's still standing. It's been slightly remodeled, but it's incredibly beautiful. It's not abandoned.
