  As a diabetic, I have never carried an uncapped syringe like that. I keep them in my kit. Buddy was shooting something but not insulin

  I often find pipe bombs when I go for a stroll through a field. I always take them home and make them into piggy banks.

  Retired Army EOD Technician here. Sergeant Curtis is right and his advice is sound, but more needs to be added. Once you reasonably suspect something as an explosive device, cordon the area dependent upon your SOP. Do not move the device, this includes changing its orientation; just do not touch it and back away once you suspect it as an explosive device. Distance is your friend, seek frontal and overhead cover too. <br><br>Two quick notes too. EOD, explosive ordnance disposal are military bomb technicians. Hazardous devices (HDS) technicians are the civilian version, police and fire bomb squad. EOD Techs are trained on military ordnance and improvised devices. HDS techs are not trained on military ordnance.<br><br>Stay safe and call if you suspect an explosive device, don’t put yourself in danger without the knowledge needed!

  Long time type one, insulin independent, diabetic here. Insulin is injected subcutaneously, or just under the skin, in places like stomach and thighs. So you wouldn’t get track marks &nbsp;on your veins from being an insulin independent diabetic. Love your content keep up the good work.

  I have a buddy who was air force EOD. &nbsp;They are a special breed. &nbsp;Someone asked him if he ever got scared. &nbsp;He said I either get it right or its suddenly not my problem. &nbsp;Initial success or total failure.
