  Actually in the blood on the ice quest after you send the court mage to jail you can talk to him after he behind bar and it will give you a chance to catch the real killer because talking with the court mage will let you know what the necklace really is and that will let you know who really did it

  I like the quest &quot;Unearthed&quot;. &nbsp;To start the quest you travel to the island of Solstheim and head SE from Raven Rock. You&apos;ll find Ralis Sedarys attempting to excavate Kolbjorn Barrow. &nbsp;<br>I like the fact that the ruins don&apos;t just &quot;magically&quot; open when you start the quest. &nbsp;It takes time and investment to completely excavate the barrow. &nbsp;The reward is unique, worthwhile and valuable. :)

  I was not surprised but kind of disappointed that &quot;The Aetherium Wars&quot; quest line wasn&apos;t on here. To me that&apos;s a top tier quest line aswell. You can start the quest in multiple ways, the rewards are top tier to &quot;I could use this&quot;, plus the lore dumps were amazing.

  Minor point: you get auriel’s bow if you side with the vampires too. The main advantage of siding with the Dawnguard is the gears, the weapons, and those sweet, sweet offensive restoration spells that I spend way too much time planning how to get as a vampire😅 The main advantage of the vampires is the vampire lord form and honestly the jewelry from the quests (specifically the rings). And I guess turning your spouse into a vampire (if they’re eligible) is pretty cool😂

  Skyrim needed more branching questlines like Dawnguard. Being able to pick a path and being forced to stick to it is what makes RPG actually engaging.

  And the bitter thing about ending the main quest line after defeating Alduin; you didn’t even kill him permanently, as you don’t absorb his soul. <br><br>He’s essentially just been returned to Akatosh and may eventually gain his physical form back in the future to fulfill his purpose as the World-Eater.<br><br>Just like the three warriors atop the Throat of the World during the end of the Dragon War; you didn’t prevent the end of the world, just delayed it.
