  I remember sneaking a dog into the hospital where I worked 30yrs ago! Permission denied but, I knew it's what the patient needed! She was giving up -ready to die, she was always asking about her dog 30/40 times a day! It was a midnight mission, staff involved & we could have lost our jobs & registration! Planned between ward staff & security. I smuggled her dog via hospital works department & ward staff took her to the hospital atrium for the meet up - away from the ward . The reuinion after 8wks was so joyful! Everyone cried! After the reunion, the patient improved significantly & was discharged in 10 days - against all odds! Never underestimate the bond between humans & their companions!

  When my dad passed away, we took his dog to say goodbye. Broke my heart watching her give him kisses, and get no response... They were best friends....

  my boy doesn&apos;t have long left and i can tell. he&apos;s outlived both of his breeds&apos; average life spans. he&apos;s turning 17 this december. he has medication, and some days without it he just has such out-of-character behavior. you can tell he wants to still be an excited little puppy, but some days he just doesn&apos;t have the energy anymore. i&apos;m not looking forward to the day he leaves me, and i don&apos;t think i&apos;ll ever be ready. this dog basically grew up with me, and it&apos;s gonna be so weird not having him there when i reach my next milestone.<br><br>he may be a grizzly old bear, but he&apos;s my grizzly old bear.

  Our 12-year-old Pitbull mex, Meatball, brings a toy to us each time we arrive home from work. &nbsp;We found a stray puppy whom we named Bella. &nbsp;She and Neatball became best friends and now she also brings us a toy just like her brother does! &nbsp;There is nothing that feels so good as being greeted, in a special way, each time you come home.

  I have a dog named Brownie and I&apos;ve had her ever since she was a pup. And every day when I come home from work she never leaves my side, and when I was away for a few months she was like a child who missed there mother. even now she stays near me when I don&apos;t go anywhere she&apos;s the sweetest baby I have ever had

  There is a inherit love between man and fur buddies that transcends what we thought. Animals feel love, happiness, &nbsp;loss, joy, and have you ever seen the way dogs know when a new born needs gentleness. ❤
