Hello again <br>One very important point is that it can happen day or night. Understand current priorities and be mindful of those consumables regardless your preparedness level. Look out for opportunities that may present themselves such as sun or rain. Storing some potential while allocating resources wisely.

A watt meter will tell you what appliances you need during a blackout. Test each one when you have electricity and write down the watts they need to run at startup and run time. this will give you a good idea how big of a solar generator you need to be able to run for several hours.
