  Solo drinking. &nbsp;Yes , no hearing other peoples problems. &nbsp;Drink as much as you want. Pass out when you want. And pass out on the couch.<br>≈=========================<br>7 years &nbsp;has passed since<br>Alcohol free<br>0 drinks<br>=========/<br>Now, solo grazing<br>Eat chip, donut, gummy bears, ice &nbsp;cream all day<br><br>11am now.<br>5 fruit snacks<br>2 cupcakes<br>2 diet cokes<br><br>But hey..im not drinking

  Used to drink alone when I got my first apartment at like 22. When it was cold, I&apos;d love to sit on my little couch, turn on the little bar heater, bathing the room in a nice orange glow, turn on a good movie or TV show and just get drunk and smoke cigarettes on my own. It was so pleasurable, but over the years, alcohol started making me really anxious as it wore off, and I&apos;d find myself waking up at 3AM in panic. 100 days sober today. I still miss it, but the urge to drink is gone.

  10 months sober after about 40 years of daily heavy drinking. I&apos;ll never go back to it.

  I remember when I loaded my fridge with that day&apos;s beer supply. Every cell in my body lit up as I loaded the cans in. I knew I was in trouble.

  You retell this brilliantly. &nbsp;When I lived alone, I would get excited driving home from work knowing I would be drinking soon on my own. CD player on, dating sites fired up, pot of food on the hob and an evening chugging beer and wine. Every day for 15 years. Sad really. Living a lonely existence. Three years sober.

  I looked forward to leaving social gatherings so I could go home to drink alone. I&apos;d avoid getting together with people so I could stay home and drink. It just felt like having a big comforting blanket wrapped around me and my mind.
