  As a resident of central Saskatchewan, &nbsp;one thing i see is people not being prepared for the winters. &nbsp;Its a state of mind , dont choose clothing for looks , find the place to live based on your winter commute . <br>Your winter activities are different than summer , <br>The people you associate with will change by the seasons <br>Our whole life is dictated by our seasons

  Enjoyed this. &nbsp;I&apos;m Canadian and am always interested in how others find us. &nbsp;Keep in mind, this is a comparison of Vancouver and the Philippines. &nbsp;Canada is huge and there will be variations depending on where you are.

  Vancouver is one of the most expensive places to live in Canada. I’m sure that counts for some of the monetary culture shock. That’s a shock for people who live in other places in Canada too!

  Born and raised Canadian here ... I&apos;m seeing more and more summer umbrellas as the years go by. People like yourself might have started a new trend.

  🇨🇦 Born &amp; raised Canadian - English/Norwegian decent - an old granny now. I have always used an umbrella to shield from the sun, always! <br>And you will find every province has a culture of its own. &nbsp;When I moved from prairie town in Manitoba as a young teen to an oil town in Alberta, I experienced massive culture shock! And that’s in my own country!
