  I was on this train in July of 1962.  I was a kid but I still remember that trip very well.

  Sioux Lookout is a hub town in northern Ontario. Many First Nations (indigenous peoples of Canada) communities that are further north than Sioux Lookout are only reachable by flying. To get to them, you often have to connect through Sioux Lookout, since there are no roads that go to them. This is also why the train stops at Sioux Lookout. Many people getting off the train there may be connecting to a different community through the Sioux Lookout airport. My sister used to live and work in a First Nations&apos; community that was hundreds of kilometers north of Sioux Lookout, and would have to take a plane from Sioux or Thunder Bay to get there. If there were ever any medical emergencies in the community, they would get airlifted to the medical centre in Sioux Lookout.

  I applied for a program that would let me (a freshman or 9th year of school) in 2025 summer go to osaka and southern japan for 3 weeks and learn hiragana, tea ceremonies and I have loved hojicha, matcha, genmaicha, etc and much more. I DID THE INTERVIEW AND GOT IN

  I&apos;m so glad you enjoyed our wintery mountains! &nbsp;I live in Edmonton and the forest fire that swept through Jasper this past summer was devastating. &nbsp;First reports suggested the whole town was gone, but it ended up about 30% destroyed. &nbsp;Some very old hotels burned down, but the train station survived. &nbsp;I really enjoyed the whole trip! &nbsp;You were nearly right &nbsp;in saying it would probably be 2025 by the time this was uploaded, haha! &nbsp;I hope you dad enjoyed it too.
