  As a retired Sheetmetal worker I’m blown away .. in my Apprenticeship we had a man build and operate a Spinning Lathe for Stainless Steel Vessels such as Dairy equipment … a crude forerunner with no computer in sight … these Robotic forming machines are next level forming hardware technology and I’m sure very impressed … your other guest took my mind down memory lane on the processes of forming custom car panels , it was a great hour and a half .keep up the good work Team !

  I'm a software engineer, but things like 3d printing, laser welding, and this make me excited for the future. This should lower the barrier of entry into manufacturing for many creative, smart people.

  3D printing with additive welding added to sheet metal is going to be a killer.<br>You could form sheet metal, add material, machine the material added, do a polishing pass and then cut out the part.<br>Then add a loading, unloading of material.<br>A robotic AI craftman.

  I’ll start with I am a former nuclear submariner who gives authorized independent tours for the USS Silver Sides in Muskegon Michigan. I met you there last summer Sandy and you salute me when you saw my nuclear submarine hat. Wonder if we could make a submarine out of 7000 aluminum I’m used to working with 5000 and 6000 aluminum for the auto industry😮 Highlander I hope you’re able to make it in June. I’ll introduce myself and you better wear your Monroe kilt you said you would.😊 the Highlander
