Adam is the only one who could pull this off. Freddie would be proud

Adam Lambert is the BRAVEST performer ever for taking on the almost impossible, unenviable role EVER...frontman for QUEEN...and he's SLAAAYED & CONQUERED IT! He's made this song his own...BRAVO ADAM! 👏👏👏 Even Roger Taylor said he's never heard anybody sing this song like Adam & that he "doesn't know anybody that can outsing Adam Lambert"...a true testament to Adam's vocal abilities! luuuved your reaction vid of Adam...keep 'em comin'! ❤

Adam absolutely showed up. I don’t think any other performer could do what he has done and precisely because Adam has never tried to be Freddie or sound like him. He approaches the music as Adam with Queen. Because of his tremendous talent and synergy with the band, it works brilliantly 🖤

Credit were credit is due: Freddie was great, but this song is Brian May‘s. He wrote it, he even sings the first verse in the original record. This song has nothing to do with Freddie‘s background or anything. He only cursed Brian for giving him such hard vocals to sing. 😂

Also this version by Adam is very emotional and pretty much perfect.

Brian wrote this song too. Adam is amazing! He has been with Queen for 5 years at this point. Brian and Roger are still top Musicians in the world - can't replace them - just like you can't replace Freddie. (Adam is not replacing - just honoring him because he can sing the whole queen catalog with ease) It is so great to hear Queen music live.

I’ve heard him sing it live twice…goosebumps both times. His voice is perfect for this song.
