Mike McCready managed to leave addiction behind, and it has been a very positive thing for his life since 1995; now Dave Krusen can do the same once and for all. He deserves that drum seat in Pearl Jam ❤💪

Dave if you ever read this, I'm grateful for how open and honest you are regarding addiction and mental health - it's still  horribly stigmatized and conversations like this truly help. It's unfathomable to me that the stigma even exists, because so much addiction, homelessness and mental health struggles stem from our society's continuous failure to protect and prioritize the well-being of children, who all too often endure trauma alone without resources, a safety net and healthy coping mechanisms. Thank you for this honest discussion!

Whoa, that's what you call being honest to yourself in first place and to your listener too!! I'm sure it takes a lot more than what we think to get all of this out. And on top of it, I guess it must have felt like swallowing a stone when every morning you look at yourself in the mirror  while you see your peers skyrocketing !!

Ten is definitely one of the greatest albums of all time.  Alive will always be my favorite song but Black is so close. Release is amazing. song after song after song.  classic.

Wonder why he didn't mention his recent work with Shinn.

I wish people with an audience that have bipolar could say exactly what they do it treat it. It could be so helpful. No stigma. Respect privacy sure but it would be interesting to just hear “ I deal with it like this - it could work for others too possibly .”

It’s great the guy is doing so well. I was in college at UW when 10 came out and everybody in Seattle was so proud of them and the others as well - a magical time for sure. As for PJ they didn’t have any staying power for me so I give this guy some credit for that. It just never felt the same with other players. 😅
