  Around this same time period my newlywed wife and I were backpacking every weekend all over the area of Western Washington - Rainier, Alpine Lakes, Glacier Peak, North Cascades NP. Back then i didnt even think about big foot/sasquatch. We were young and fearless. More than once we heard knocks. Had no idea what they were.

  Hi! Love your videos! I'm from Olympia WA so I grew up hearing about "Bigfoot". A friend of mine did a lot of mountain climbing and had told me stories of hearing strange sounds that he knew weren't bears, cats, etc. I climbed a mountain in the Olympics with him back in 1983, and reflected about Bigfoot on the summit at sunset, that the Olympics alone are certainly big enough to give a creature such as Bigfoot, a solid place to call home.

  Great story from Mt St Helens.  I live SW of Mt St Helens still in WA and thinking about traversing into the woods definitely gives me pause after listening to your stories.  I am hoping my very scientific brother will be open to listen to your stories because he doesn’t believe in Sasquatch.  I think his fear doesn’t allow him to be open minded.   Maybe Base Camp Chris can change his mind.
