It’s crazy that they judged her for her age in comparison to to her cast mates when she looks young and perfect for her teen role

The sad thing is that Anna didn't look young for her character. Kitty was only a junior in high school. Even now in season 3, she has only finished her first semester of senior year. The problem is just that they casted co-stars almost a decade older than her, so ofc its going to make the only age appropriate actress look too young.

I hope she does get to play a character who wears glasses permanently too ❤

They should've kept the glasses for kitty tbh. You can be a cute and hot main character with glasses on dude.

I will forever mourn her teeth because there is a difference between changing an insecurity that you have because you want to vs something being made fun of to the point where it becomes an insecurity bc its all people talk about when they see you

2:08 I feel so bad she had to feel like this because she looked like the perfect age for her show-- of course, the other actors were great, but if they were disappointed at her not looking the same age as the cast, they shouldn't have hired so many people in their late twenties to play teens

glasses conversation: I always wondered why she didn't wear them for xo kitty and I'm so mad at production for making her wear contacts instead, it's really noticeable that she wore them as a side character for all of the films but had to stop once she became the lead. When small things like that happen, it makes other representations feel a bit performative too which really sucks

I think only glasses girls know and understand how glasses girls feel honestly, and just by putting it out there you're already incredible anna 💖

What’s crazy is that Anna is only 22 but she looks 17-18. I thought that she was still in high school until I looked her up recently. The only other actresses who I know of who genuinely look younger than they are and could actually play high schoolers, are Antonia Gentry and Katie Douglas from Ginny & Georgia in which both Ginny and Abby are high schoolers.
