Hey! I'm from Lithuania. I'm very proud and pleased to see my hometown Vilnius. I like that you try to understand the feeling we live right now. Imagine, that Vilnius, capital of Lithuania is 125miles from border with Kaliningrad, Russia and 22 miles from Belarus border! 125 miles also from Suvalky. So I'm very thankful for supporting and training our troops.

Lithuania is cool and peaceful. Very green woods and clean and fresh air.

What this video does not show is Polish mechanized forces sitting on the border and preparing for that move. That's one of the main reasons we ordered 1000 tanks from Koreans. If article 5 is triggered, all hell will break loose, no amount of quick lame diplomacy from Germany or France will help, they will have no choice but scramble. Poland is prepared to flank this attack and attack Belarus and Kaliningrad asap, while Lithuania and Baltic states defend themselves. Russia is prepared to counter that move and they have their own counter plans. If it happens, this place will be a hell of steel, fire and blood like we haven't seen in a while.

After Finland and Sweden joins NATO its no longer a weakpoint, Baltic sea becomes NATO sea.

Two points from this video. We were neutral countries. In 1939 Baltic states didn't surrender to Soviets, we were forcefully annexed. There where decade long active guerilla war going one, especially in Lithuania. Last guerilla member in Latvia come out of forest in 1995. Also Baltic diplomatic staff abroad never recognized Soviet authority. Secondly if we are speaking about Russian interference abroad, then the Baltic states and society's aren't the weakest point.

excuse me. Poland has an entire division stationed near lithuania to help if shit goes down, yet we are not on the map of the "reliable nato countries"

An anecdote about open terrain. One of the first lessons i learned during service, was when our officers split the platoon into 1vs1 groups and had us start advancing on each other straight through the terrain. Our group started in an open field, their group in a dense forest.
And yes, youve guessed it, they took position at the tree line and waited for us to get into optimal position to obliterate us.
Lesson learned, you dont move in open terrain. This was the whole purpose of the lill drill. To show us, just how dangerous that is!
It just stuck with me. Such a simple, unfair little drill.

Im Lithuanian , served in Lithuanian forces as many here did. I can tell this anything what is too heavy will die here in forest. you should look at some video where ukraine literally wiped russia in forest in north of kiev. like ambush after ambush without no end. So Ukraine has no forest basically its more like fields. While Lithuania is forest forest hills steep hills and in those forest are swamps, rivers, small rivers, llakes, and many many irigattion ditches where tank cant pass in fields. So in forest its always rains cant say why, every day we went into forest we where wet, also we have humidity of air very wet type. So evem than its hot you still become wet :D all uniform becomes wet actually in forest of Liithuania. So war here will fast kill sodliers who are not used like Russians. Russian climate is cold , but its not wet. So we have similar frost in winter , but its way worse as it will be wet. It can change very fast from minus to plus than you will get much of snow with water. Ow and lets not forget all forest is litterally biological mine fields :D there is so called ticks here which can easily kill you or make cabbage from you. And you cant see them, cant find in anyway you simple go in wrong grass and hello mister soldier nice to meet you. Its not like in usa, or russia. Tics like wet tall grass climate .Here people who live here never go to grass fields or forest without some tactic :D how to . As people love mushrooms every autumn. Heck even in city you can rarely see people in grass like in usa or uk. I will give example how deadly here it is dude was mechanic fixing cars in city in garage and cought a tic , like on god damn cement :D
