  Mam francuskiego szwagra, wspaniały chłop dobry mąż wzorowy ojciec! Kiedyś przy drinku zaczął mnie męczyć francuskimi potworkami językowymi min. très, très, très, très bien. Poradziłem sobie bez problemu. Gdy przyszła moja kolej podałem krótkie zdanie - Chcę chrztu! Po kilku minutach chrząkania i charczenia wnerwiony &nbsp;Ksawier zakończył pojedynek zdaniem wypowiedzianym czystą polszczyzną - odpier..l się ;-)

  Dziękuję że tak wspaniale zachęca pan do polskiego, bo po pierwszym filmiku tak się przestraszyłem,że nieomal przestałem mówić po polsku.Pozdrawiam z Gniezna.

  Świetny materiał. Ale chcę dodać, że w Polsce również są konkursy ortograficzne. Łatwo popełnić błąd ze słowami zawierającymi &quot;ch&quot;, &quot;h&quot;, &quot;rz&quot;, &quot;ż&quot;, &quot;u&quot;, &quot;ó&quot;, a także z wyrazami pisanymi razem czy osobno, nie mówiąc o rozmaitych wyjątkach w polskiej pisowni.

  English may have more words in the dictionary but average Pole uses more words than the average Brit. It will depend on the level of education

  German native here 😊. I came here because my lovely neighbor who is from Poland asked me if I could teach her some English. <br><br>It&apos;s good to know some basic grammar about the learners origin to understand why they struggle in parts that seem easy for everybody else. <br><br>Sounds like Polish isn&apos;t too hard to learn compared to German. I guess I will &nbsp;ask her to teach me some Polish and follow your channel. We have many Polish immigrants here and I can confirm they are warm hearted, easy going and very friendly. ❤

Fact, officially there are only 3, but we make up for it with perfective and imperfective verbs (like robić vs zrobić). On top of that, we have moods: indicative, imperative, and conditional (robisz, rób!, zrobiłbym), conjugation by person (robię, robisz, robi) - both singular and plural (robimy, robicie, robią), gender in the past tense (robiłem vs robiłam) + there is plural masculine (persons) and non-masculine forms (chłopcy spadli, dziewczynki/króliki/kamienie spadły), participles (robiąc, zrobiwszy), and frequentative verbs (pisuję, pisywałem, pisujesz, pisywałeś, pisuje, pisywał, pisywała). Oh, and on top of all that, there&apos;s a whole bunch of different prefixes (dopisuję, przepisujesz, odpisuje, zapisywała...).<br>​So in reality, while English keeps its complex system organized in 12 tenses on a chart, Polish just shoved that entire madness straight into word formation and grammar endings

  I watched the movie Sophie&apos;s Choice with Meryl Streep. There&apos;s a scene where she says that English is difficult because the Polish word szybki translates to fast, rapid, quick, and speed. That&apos;s a bit untrue because in Polish, there are many other terms for szybki, such as prędki, chyży, wartki, bystry, rączy, pospieszny, nagły, and błyskawiczny.

  Polish spelling bees may not be a thing on a large scale, but spelling tests are very much a feature of primary education. While true homophones are fairly rare, there are many near-homophones which you need to train your ear to distinguish. Dictation is a thing all the way throughout Polish education - as it is in French, &nbsp;and there is in fact a major annual event on French television of French speakers across the world attempting the same text.<br><br>Especially for English speakers, the difference between sz and ś, or cz and ć, can be insurmountable both in hearing and speaking. I know people who&apos;ve been learning Polish as a second language for decades and have still not got on top of those distinctions. And thats just for basic &quot;textbook&quot; Polish, but if you include the way Polish is actualy spoken in the regions, even native speakers can get confused.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTTzoRG8LcE&amp;t=440">7:20</a> - here you meant conjugation (koniugacja / odmiana przez osoby). And declension is called deklinacja (odmiana przez przypadki) in Polish 😉
