  The broad concepts and how they evolve matters more to the exploration of a Tetris games dna, than inaccuracies in specifics about the combo multipliers.

  I have lots of good memories playing Tetris Battle Gaiden with emulated netplay. Truly an S-tier title, you need to actually check it out some time. I also remember cheesing out the marathon mode of Tetris DS to level 999(?) thanks to its forgiving lock delay and vertical spinkicks (and pausing for breaks when needed.)

  To add some context.... &nbsp;Acerola is a graphics designer by trade, he has a video about what this is for anyone who cares. &nbsp;I commiserate with him needing to create a video to explain what his (former, he used to work for Sony) job is. &nbsp;So his interest in this topic was def about the game development and so on. Not the legal morass that surrounds tetris itself. &nbsp;In the end it was the &quot;history of tetris game design&quot;, not the &quot;history of tetris&quot; that&apos;s why he left out what he did.<br><br>Also he isn&apos;t a lawyer and has never given me the impression of someone who wants to make a video, or discuss something in video, unless he has achieved a real level of expertise first. &nbsp;He describes himself as a tetris newb, but he took 3-4 months (maybe longer) to make this video and it was all he worked on for his youtube that entire time. &nbsp;He is by no means a tetris newb now, and he probably is well aware of a lot of things he left out cause it wasn&apos;t important to the video. &nbsp;Like you, that video was the longest he had ever made. &nbsp;Specifically if he left out a game, then it wasn&apos;t relevant to the game dev history of tetris. &nbsp;This is why he mentions a tetris game on micro card, but not a popular tetris mobile game, because it does nothing for the game design but a micro card tetris is an interesting development change.
