I think "The Wonder of You" is a great reference, because of how grandiose it is without actually telling us anything about the subject of affection, which imo fits perfectly with Toru's myopia and seeing people around him as oh so fleeting accessories to his very important lonesome road. You can imagine Toru singing this song about Yasuho or a pretty sunset in the same cadence, because they're the same to him, experiences and property that he can discard before getting back on The Grind.

You did your research!! Very well informed review.

Edit: Thought this was going to be a figure review but its a full on character analysis. You didn't talk about the figure's articualtion or anything. Amazing video.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but is this figure really 89 years old?

I do think the wonder of u is more interesting than toru, but what i think ataki was doing was making toru and his stand both forces of nature through and through, having a bug mindset like his upcoming with basic goals, and ironically his stand almost having more personality after taking someones appearance. I do wish we got more of him and maybe how evil and predatory he seems. A missed opertunity to make toru more memorable

I never knew WoU was a sentient stand. I always figured that Toru was just speaking through the stand for the majority of the fight.

So this stand acts like Domino's mutant power.
