This type of hazing won't ever be eliminated until we can figure out how to deal with members that operate outside of the sanctioned process

Hazing stopped me from pledging during college. I literally quit during the Alpha Phi Alpha process. The things that they were doing were more humiliating than uplifting and while not everyone is physically abused. Many are mentally tortured and end up partaking in some of the lowest of things just to prove themselves. I didn't have that in me

My daughter attends Clark Atlanta and she said this is why people don’t even wanna pledge anymore for this exact reason. The band fraternity’s are the worst honestly

Hazing should be a federal law for all institutions of higher learning. Hazing takes place at both PWI and HBCU.
