Jon another random synergy that I learned through playing Mega Starmie in standard is you can attach the new special energy “Bubbly Energy” which prevents all special conditions from affecting the water Pokemon it’s attached too and you can combo it with “Dark Bell” to confuse your opponents Pokemon and have your be unaffected

If Jon wants to cook a more sleep/spread control version of water, the Regice with the ability that locks a stadium could be used on slumbering forest plus its attack puts the opponent to sleep. Synergizes with the Frosmoth that spreads 20 and sleeps the active. Could be fun with Froslass and Quick Shooting Inteleon.
