My favorite moment is when he says "diaspora matlab," normalising the acceptance of not knowing English well and openly embracing that. I hope this encourages others to ask about unknown english words when they don't understand and not feel inferior about it.

Sucharita getting emotional in an interview is something I was not ready for. Diljit is way too special and I am super happy that he remembered and honoured you the way he did. Love and Only love xx

I live in Calgary Canada and I recently had a friend and his Punjabi girlfriend over for dinner. When sharing about her culture with us, she kept referring to Diljit as the true representative of Punjab. She kept saying that "this man is doing a lot for our culture and our community - the way he represents us and his stardom is something else". And I can see why she said that :)

2020 event he&apos;s talking about: When punjabi farmers were out protesting and all celebrities fell in line behind the indian government and sikhs began to be all labeled as Khalistanis &amp; even Diljit himself was continuously attacked. It was in that moment that Diljit realized nobody else is coming to the aide of the Punjabi community, that they must win that battle themselves- which they did.<br>Ever since-he has carried that Punjabi pride with him since and wants to prove they can&apos;t be marginalized

Diljit is so hard to not love! What a gentle, humble man he is - so unabashedly &amp; unapologetically himself. I may not be Panjabi but a part of my heart will always be Panjabi thanks to people like him.

Panjabi is beyond a language, culture/dress... though these can be a part of it. But Panjabi truly in it&apos;s essence is about connecting to/ awakening the heart of a person ❤

So proud of Diljit what a talent and so grateful for promoting Punjabi culture. It almost died when sultan Rahi died in Pakistan. These guys are so talented and finally they are getting their due.

Panjab is reffered to as the heart of India ❤ so according to me, awakening panjabiyat means awakening the heart of every person. As they say in Punjabi, &apos;Ji Aian Nu&apos; (All are welcome). That is why people of all communities love and support Panjabi so much ... because it touches their heart. Panjabi is all about connecting to / awakening the heart of a person ❤
