Rebuilding after emotional collapse begins by accepting that something false has broken down. Healing starts when you rest, face what was denied, and slowly rebuild your life around what is real instead of what only kept you functioning.

Collapse doesn’t break you down. It breaks down everything that was never really you.

You didn’t lose yourself… you lost the mask that was slowly suffocating you.
What feels like emptiness is actually space, space where something real can finally exist. Most people rush to fill it, to become “someone” again as fast as possible.
But that’s how they end up rebuilding the same prison with better lighting.

Carl Jung understood something most people avoid: the breakdown isn’t the tragedy avoiding what it reveals is.
If you can sit in that silence without rushing to fix it…
if you can face what came up without burying it again…

then this isn’t the end of who you were.

It’s the first honest moment of who you actually are.

I listened to four of these videos this morning. They explained my whole life. Only took 65 years to get here.

Totally me right now. Completely lost, feeling broken, barely functioning, in complete despair, tired of everything, unable to enjoy things I enjoyed before, feeling disconnected from everything & everyone. In my past I have tried to be what people wanted me to be. In the process I failed the few I truly care about & I failed myself. Right now everyday is torture but I also don’t want to go back to where I was, where I thought I was ok because I wasn’t. As difficult as it is I will keep going. My heart aches for anyone experiencing the same agony. I hope our painful journeys will have a profound positive outcome

shame, guilt and the pride had been eating me up alive for so long. Feeling like nowhere to go, try to find the best option and path but stumbled upon my own long lived persona that no longer serve me.
