  Some great commentary here. My perspective has always been that Hebrews was a sequel to Matthew&apos;s Gospel. Firstly, it&apos;s written to the Jewish believers who accepted Matthew&apos;s thesis that Jesus is the King of Israel. Secondly, the references and &quot;repent or perish&quot; tone overlap very well, focusing on elements of the Pentateuch and the history of the Jewish people. Thirdly, the canonical plot development can be seen from Jesus&apos;s earthly ministry, and then his ascension into his heavenly ministry. Lastly, it rounds out a series of two-part works in the NT, Luke-Acts, John-Revelation, adding Matthew-Hebrews.

  It’s pretty clear why the western church the Roman Catholic dominated part of the church did not want to accept the Pauline authorship. Because we see clearly especially in chapters seven through 10 where Christ is the final complete sacrifice for our sins where Roman Catholicism tries to say that their sacrifice of the mass is not a risk sacrificing about a representingthe sacrifice that they’re not really sacrificing they’re just bringing the sacrifice to the present time. Where we see in Hebrews clearly tells us that Christ was sacrifice once for all time. And there was no more offering for sin.

  When God created the universe, did God use raw materials? If God did not use raw materials in creating the universe, then what is it that became the universe, is it God&apos;s Word that became the universe or what is it that became the universe? If the Word of God can become the man Jesus, can the Word of God become the universe or become a human other than Jesus or become an animal or plant or whatever God wants? Can Word of God become other than Jesus?
