Ι used to be a BMW enthusiast back in the days, but between these 2, Volvo for me hands down!

Tested them both and they are both great cars. The BMW drives truly amazing for a heavy SUV. Chuck it at the corner and it will just do it and you’ll enjoy it. The Volvo on the other hand is calm, comfy and silent. Whereas the iX3 is a bit harsh on bumps and a bit loud, the Volvo in contrast can’t really handle its’ power and isn’t that fun, but will still competently drive way to fast. So in the end I went for the Volvo. Why: I think I’ll keep my license with that car more easily than the BMW which encourages me to drive faster. In the Volvo I have to be aware on the motorway since it is more silent and I’ll end up speeding without knowing. I do know I said the Volvo can’t handle its’ power, yet I ordered the 680hp P12, but that is mainly due to the battery. I know I would be happy with the BMW also.

Looks wise, the BMW is just stuffed with angularity for the sake of it, inside and out... give me Scandi simplicity any day.

For a family car, I prefer comfort and silence. The P10 Ultra is also cheaper, with much better equipment and better looking inside and out. Definitely my choice.

Having road tested a Volvo EX60 P10what a car. All the points Nichola & Batch highlighted so true. However like other readers, the simplicity and interaction with the EX60 is truly superb. Quiet, relaxed, peaceful, luxurious interior, very well equipped (Ultra) and the Hi Fi well as my friend said, the question is will you want to leave it!! Never experienced such refinement and power in any of the 11 cars previously owned. This will be my last planned purchase, ordered on the Volvo tour when car was travelling in a few Scottish dealerships. Now having driven the car so glad I ordered in June.
