My week is always complete when I get to sit and listen to Kate talk about anything and everything.

Kate. I must tell you that you are so soothing to my soul. I lost vision in my eye back in October. Since then I have been struggling with various problems. I found that listening to your videos on YouTube helped me calm down. My sight was restored just recently but I felt like you were with me through it all. You made me feel like everything would be all right and it was. Thank you and sending you many blessings.

As you spin and sip your tea, your comment "Get out of your head and into your hands," brought to mind a verse from my childhood: "Cross patch lift the latch, sit by the fire and spin. Take a cup and drink it up, and let good comfort in.". Thanks for the smile.

I’m so thankful for your videos Kate. This one came on, and Ian, my three year old said (quite wistfully), “that’s my grandma. Mom, that’s my grandma!” My little ones don’t have grandmas, and so your videos bring such a gentle, lovely energy for them to listen to with me. Thank you.

I was so happy to see Eileen and to hear that she continues to be her own goose.

My husband has recently retired and is home. I mean sitting in the chair, watching tv, following me around home. I am biting my tongue a lot and giving him a "grace" period! And we"ve had such a LONG winter...but today it was lovely to visit the spinning room!! I had my earbuds in and I guess he saw me smile...when he asked what I was watching I said, "I'm spinning lovely pink yarn with Kate."!!!! Thank you for my pleasant getaway this afternoon!!

When I see this kind of video where you are using a spinnng wheel, I always think to myself...who thought about how to design, make and of course use a machine like this...there were some very clever people around in the past...including reverend Spooner...because I do like a spit of binning...

There she is! Miss Eileen and the spinning wheel. This all started there, didn't it. This room has turned into such a nurturing place. I bet it is the very best napping room! Every time I watch an artisan work their craft, I appreciate the value in it. Enjoy your week, Kate and Anna. Till we meet again.
