  there is one other thing about tripwires that could be either useful or detrimental - if you break the tripwire without using shears, it still triggers. this means something like a tnt or lava trap will still spring even if you spot it and try to defuse it.

  If you think about it, trip wire and trip wire hook are very strange features, they feel straight out of a mod, and if they were added today &nbsp;people would probably say it looks like a mod
