  My assumption about Orbot and Cubot being friendly to Shadow is a mix of just how placid they can be, combined with Shadow seeming like a distant relative to them<br>They refer to Metal Sonic as their &quot;big brother&quot;, so maybe they see Shadow as like, their great uncle or some estranged family member

  While I understand your plight of wanting Black Comet to be the final level, I think Black Doom and/or Sega had Radical Highway as the final level thematically because Shadow of confronting his past and does not like remembering how he misunderstood Maria&apos;s wish and wanted revenge on humanity. It’s a bad part of his past that he’s ashamed of, and Black Doom attempting to overwhelm him Shadow and submit to his anger.<br><br>With that said, yes it is Shadow&apos;s Green Hill and the final level should have been Black Comet.

  To put it bluntly, it seems shadow isn&apos;t just in white space, but something deeper than even eggman went to, a place where time legitimately is actually fucked up, past, future and even alternative timelines all clashing, with shadow at the center. It&apos;s why he&apos;s getting a sonic movie 3 dlc later on, which yes, that&apos;s going to be the same shadow as in game. It&apos;s also why it looks different, it&apos;s flat out not the same place. It also explains shadow being in places he shouldn&apos;t, and bosses having different moves and shit, as it&apos;s not 1-1 that fight, rather it&apos;s an alternative version of them. My biggest evidence there is the bio lizard, he&apos;s never had ball arms before, and the metal overlord fight over water, a completely new concept.

  Putting the Forces/Frontiers cutscenes side to side with Shadow Generations really does show the jump in quality... and how dire things really were.
