  I'm Brazilian and I speak Portuguese. I learned Spanish and English by listening to music. I love how languages connect us to other cultures. I love Australian English; it's the English I learned.

  I kept asking myself where have I heard the name Zhunya before? Well, in Ojibwe (one of the the indigenous nations of Canada) Zhoonia  (pronounced the same) is money! I have many Ojibway friends and have heard it many times and it finally clicked today lol

  hii, Argentinian here ☺️ your spanish is impressively good for just a year of learning it!!! and you definitely have a more centre-american accent; mexican and castilian (spain's spanish) are the accents that most foreigners end up learning

  I speak very fluently Italian and I swear Spanish is 80% similar fr<br>I could do the whole &quot;I speak&quot; conjugation out of intuition for some reason 😆<br><br>Jo hablo =Io parlo<br>Tu hablas = Tu parli<br>Nosotros hablamos= Noi parliamo<br><br>Then idk cause in Italian we have 3 categories of suffixes for verb conjunctions which are: are, ere, ire (infinit versions of the verb) and so there are 3 categories of verbs (excluding ofc irregulars as any other language) and that applies for any type of verb conjunctions<br><br>Most of the words you quoted as examples are literally the same in Italian:<br><br>La maestra (same)<br>El libro= Il libro <br>Un libro nuevo= Un libro nuovo<br>Una casa nueva = Una casa nuova <br>El gato = Il gatto<br>La casa (same)<br>El/Il telefono (same)<br>El/Il medico (same)<br>Puedes ajutarme= puoi aiutarmi<br>And so on😂<br><br><br>Determinativ articles are literal il la and in Spanish are el la, then ofc it&apos;s not 100% the same<br><br>But determinatives in Italian are: il lo la i gli le<br>Indeterminatives: uno una un and un&apos; (also feminine but for feminine words that start with a vocal)<br><br>I find that adjectives in Italian/Spanish are much more intuitive compared to German which I&apos;m learning too and... Omg the adjective declinations are crazy compared to how intuitive it is in Italian! Italian doesn&apos;t have declinations or strict rules for how you order stuff in phrases, nor a &quot;neutral&quot; and yes omission of pronouns is cool asf in my opinion but not easy for a beginner (you hear it more in real life conversations)<br><br>It&apos;s hard to switch from German to Italian and vice versa since Italian is literally so expressive meanwhile German is very rule based and seems more strict<br><br>I also know Romanian and omg the mix of language influences in Romanian is fascinating <br>It&apos;s a &quot;Lingua romanza&quot; in the same family as Italian Spanish French etc but has slavic, turkish, a bit of German, and dacic influence besides Latin which remains the root tho (mostly vocabulary I mean)<br><br>Italians can at times understand it and some words are similar but the pronunciation sounds much more eastern compared to their language and they sometimes confuse it with Russian which is so interesting <br><br>Like sometimes in Italy if I speak in Romanian people have asked me multiple times if I was Russian and I was like omg it&apos;s so fascinating how people think that based on how it sounds to them!<br><br>I would love to learn Russian and I regularly watch your videos about languages and I absolutely adore it! Keep on teaching us stuff, as a polyglot at this point I&apos;m absolutely obsessed with learning languages 😂❤<br><br>I would love to learn Spanish too since tbh Italians and Spanish people can understand each other without a context just by similarity it&apos;s crazy 😂 so ye, but I&apos;ve heard from Italian friends learning it that it&apos;s paradoxical since it&apos;s similar but then you get confused on little differences and &quot;false friends&quot; words <br><br>Like in Spanish Embarasada means pregnant?   Is my first language spanish? Yes, will i still watch this video? Yes why not? <br>I also enjoy it because I&apos;m bilingual, and I&apos;d like to learn French soon.

  Hay muchísimas normas aleatorias sin explicación aparente pero cuando ya tienes las bases, te acostumbrarás jaja. Ánimo con el español :). Sobre los acentos, la riqueza de los idiomas y de los acentos locales lo hace más divertido (y complicado) aún. Como alguien nacido en España, hay mucha gente en todos los paises pretendiendo decir qué acento es el correcto. Incluso dentro de un país hay muchisimos acentos.
