  Fun Fact about DS2 (and Earthen Peck): NPC summons can not only asist you in battle and boss fights, BUT they can also sometimes buff you, heal you, OR give you guidance. <br><br>For example, While in Earthen Peck, there&apos;s a NPC summon that actually tells you about the poison windmill. While near it, &nbsp;that summoned NPC will actually take out a torch and gesture to the player to use it on it, which drains the poison pool in the boss arena.
