  I grew up baptist, my church had many discussions like this, and I truly was so so brainwashed to hating the LDS church and I was told if I don’t share the gospel with them I was sending them to hell. So, I went to all my LDS friends in high school, and told them what I thought of their salvation and their “different Jesus” they gave me a Book of Mormon to read.<br><br>I started reading it with horrible intent and an unopened heart. Yet it still pierced my very soul, I had to move out at 18 so I could attend church and get baptized. Now I’m a returned missionary and I’m so grateful for my friends that met my hate with so much love.<br><br>I was just a kid and these “lessons” were so so often and so so harmful. So grateful I found the truth and have the Book of Mormon.

  When I was dating my wife back in 2022, I was talking to my wife about my church. Now, my wife grew up with an Atheist mother and a Carholic grandmother. Her mother was not a good mother in general, so my wofe&apos;s grandmother took care of her for the most part. My wife was taught to be a good Catholic girl, but when her grandmother eventually left the church for how corrupt it was, she would soon die, and my wife would lose her faith after her prayers would not be answered.<br>When I taught her of my Church, she listened to so many Anti-Mormon rhetoric that she believed in them.<br>One day, my wife asked me how the Book of Mormon could be the Word of God because basically anyone can write a book, and claim it to be scripture. I asked her if she believed the Holy Bible to be the word of God. She said yes, although she has not read it all the way through. I asked her, &quot;Besides what preachers have taught you, how do you know it is True?&quot;<br>She took a while to come up with a response, but she eventually said that the Holy Spirit gaver her a witness that it was true. I then said that I knew the Book of Mormon was True because the Holy Spirit had given me a witness of its truthfulness. And if anyone else published any additional scripture, I would read it for myself, and see if the Holy Spirit testifies of its truthfulness throughout the book. My wife thought over my answer, and she said that she saw no fault with what I said.<br>Since then, my wife is on her second read through of the Book of Mormon, and we have even started the Old Testament alongside Come, Follow Me. She has been learning a lot, and we are working towards her feeling as though she understands our Church, so that she can enter into the temple, and make ordinances not in vain.

  Video idea: get quotes from famous Protestant pastors and leaders and present them as Mormon quotes to pastors to see them crashout and critique it, then reveal it’s a Protestant quote.

  My son has gone to a few youth group activities from a different church. &nbsp;He loves to play volleyball and they give a short spiritual message at the end. &nbsp;We weren&apos;t scared. &nbsp;He is a good son and his friend that invited him is a good kid. &nbsp;A couple of weeks ago, he was going to another of these &quot;RISN&quot; youth activities, he felt inspired to get out his phone and record the spiritual message. &nbsp;It was trash talking the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. &nbsp;He was quite disappointed and told his friend that he enjoyed the volleyball but won&apos;t be going to future activities. &nbsp;I find it kind of sad that instead of teaching about Jesus they feel the need to trash talk his restored church. &nbsp;Maybe they don&apos;t have much to teach, preach or live in their church.

  I love that they have a whole PowerPoint against Mormons. I never had a young women’s lesson against Protestants or Jews or anyone! &nbsp;We just shared the Gospel and learned about it. We were never against other religions. It’s actually really sad that they do that.

  When I was about 9 years old, growing up in Southern California, &nbsp;a bunch of girls from school invited me to a sleepover. &nbsp;They were a church girl scout troop, not our church. &nbsp;Anyway I got there and all these little girls ambushed me about my religion. &nbsp;It was a miserable night. But stunning in retrospect how young evangelicals indoctrinate their children to attack people of another faith. And this was in the 1970&apos;s.

  Remember guys, God says it&apos;s okay for him to lie about other religions because otherwise his income declines and that would be tragic.

  Could you imagine your bishop sitting down with the primary/youth aged kids in his living room talking about the purported bad about other religions? &nbsp;The fact that this even happens blows my mind.
