Thanks for watching. ALIVE ON MARS Part 5 of the Extended Edition. This video brings together Episodes 24 to 26 as one continuous chapter. It continues immediately after the failure of the ancient containment system beneath Meridiani-07. The damaged resonator can still weaken the creatures for a moment, but Mars is no longer quiet, and the fragile alliance between Matt, Hanna, and Pixel is forced beyond the safety of the station. A second opened container beneath Meridiani proves that someone reached the hidden system before them. Then Pixel disappears. The only trail leads to Azar-12, a hostile machine base far beyond the routes they can safely travel. Matt is captured and treated as a living key, while Hanna must continue alone. Using the awakened creatures of Mars to break through the base’s defenses, she reaches Matt and Pixel and leads them out through a collapsing laboratory complex as Azar-12 begins to destroy itself. They escape with an active robot head and the first fragment of a signal connected to humanity. But that discovery opens a secret buried much deeper than the base. Long before Matt woke on Mars, an unknown alien vessel found his failing escape capsule among the wreckage of the Aeterna. The strangers searched Earth, the Moon, Venus, and the remaining points of the Solar System for his people. They found ruined cities, abandoned stations, dead infrastructure—and no living world to return him to. With no home left to find, they chose Mars. They restored a forgotten human habitat, placed Matt inside, left Pixel beside him, and withdrew into hidden orbit to watch without revealing themselves. This chapter connects the first real trail toward humanity with the hidden origin of Matt’s survival. He was never stranded on Mars by accident. Someone saved him. Someone has been watching. And after Azar-12, he finally holds the first clue that may lead him back to humanity. 🔴 Full archive, episodes in order & merch: https://redplanetnotes.com The last man on a dead planet is recording his life.
