Actually, english itself used to be a gendered language until grammatical gender was phased out between old and early modern english. Most languages in the indo-european family (the family english is in) are gendered, including most romance languages (spanish, french, etc), germanic languages (german, english, norwegian, etc) slavic languages (russian, polish, czech, etc) and many other language branches.   Fun fact about the common pidgeon (aka rock dove)<br>They lay their eggs on cliffs so they don&apos;t need proper nests (hence the name rock dove)<br><br>This is also why they thrive in big cities
