  The thing that makes Sean Strickland's upsets even more crazy to me is that he beat two very different opponents it's not like he beat two really good strikers or two really good wrestlers he beat one really good Striker and one really good wrestler

  Winning a UFC championship belt is extremely difficult. Winning it back years later is even harder. Everyone on this list deserves tremendous recognition, especially Petr Yan, who regained it with an extraordinary performance.

  Strickland should be #1 for sure and Yan should be #2. Yan&apos;s redemption arc was harrowing.<br>To give the unstoppable Merab a beatdown like that was a legendary performance.

  There isn&apos;t a man or woman that has ever walked into Octagon that didn&apos;t have a punchers chance to shock the world. Gaethje is over the hill based on age and battles fought but he showed everyone there&apos;s a door and you have to walk through it to be a champion.

  Honestly the Strickland Chimaev fight being close is nuts to me. Say what you will about Sean but that seemed pretty definitive to me lol. Damage + general aggression seemed to be at least Majority decision material to me.
