" My Lord 🙌🏾 I'm on my knees, asking for Mercy, we are perishing! We ask for Your forgiveness during these times... Bawo (Lord) forgive us, forgive us. We can only forge ahead only in Your presence (when You go with us)... Be with us in these trying times oh Lord x, we need You oh Lord 🙌🏾 we need You" This is a Summary of the song with some of the churus. They are singing in the Xhosa language and I am Xhosa 🇿🇦

I think the song came out during Covid, hence the grave sites. But classic SA gospel music videos always have church, cemeteries, someone rolling in the sand by the beach, by the river etc. 😅here’s a translation

Messiah ndiguqe ngedolo
(Messiah, I am on my knees)
Phambi kwakho ndiyakhala Simakade
(Before I cry/plead ancient of days)
Siyaphela, ndiyacela, xolela
(We are dying, please, forgive us)
Ungasilahli ngelixesha elinjena
(Don’t forsake us, in times like these)
Elshadai adonnai thethelela, ndiyacela, xolela
(… please forgive us)
Noma indlela inameva, ndithembe wena
(Even if the path is thorny, I trust you)
Noma izivunguvungu zingafika mna ndithembe wena…
(When storms come, I trust you)

Bawo yiba nathi, kwelixesha elinjena
(Father be with us, during these times)
Usixolele izono zethu
(And forgive us our trespasses/sins)

Siyakudinga oh Jehovah
(We need you, oh Jehovah)
Ngaphandle kwakho singenze lutho
(Without you, we can do nothing)
