Eine echt historische Zugreise und Film. Heute gibt es keine Schienen mehr von St. Urban nach Melchnau. Schade, es war offensichtlich eine schöne Strecke.

The German Wikipedia says there are plans to move the endstation Ziegelei (roofing tiles factory) to a still working monastery in the middle of St-Urban. The national farmers coop Landi (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2K2EvViStU&t=1430">23:50</a>) was the last freight customer on the line. They no longer use trains to move their produce, that's why the last kms to Melchnau were demolished.

Made years ago with the legendary ticket from Bern, exclusively on metre gauge.<br>Several three-rail sections with standard gauge wagons hauled by narrow gauge locomotives with offset buffers.

Ach ja, das Zügli fuhr ja vor einer gefühlten Ewigkeit noch weiter. Und der Mann hat ein Video davon, dann noch in dieser Qualität. Vielen Dank, dass Sie dies mit uns teilen, eine Führerstandsfahrt auf einer Strecke, die schon seit Jahren abgebaut und seit noch viel mehr Jahren nicht mehr befahren wird.
