Beautiful hive, not too aggressive. Nice brood pattern. Did I see some drone cells toward the beginning? Glad you found the queen when you were getting the bees from the vac.

The sun on the comb made for some perfect cinematography. (Not that we don't appreciate Charlie when he films).

Another goodie. You pulled off a great solo wrangle AND got some fresh fish in the bargain! 😅 Honestly, it's amazing that you did that whole removal so smoothly AND captured it all on film to share with all of us! Seriously, that's a lot to manage. I know it's more fun with your good buddies, but I imagine it's also a peaceful meditative process when it's just you and the bees too. Good one!

I’m always amazed at the size of the hives in such a short time. I’ve finally truly understood the phrase “busy as a bee.”

Goodness Mr Ed, what a really nice looking hive you are working with this morning!! Fine recovery and rehoming of your latest bee collection. Good to see that the queen was on board when you returned to the abbey. Hope Good Time Charley had a successful fishing outing, and fed you a tasty trout treat upon his return! You keep these videos coming, I will be looking and watching Mr. Ed! -Bob...
