  Reading an article electronically isn't unhinged, but putting down physical printed articles for the exact same article electronically because your smooth brain gets bored in the .5 seconds it takes you to turn the page as opposed to the slow continuous scroll of a phone IS chalked

  We got so lucky with FDR (despite his flaws). We absolutely could have got a hitler out of our economic downturn, the sentiment for it was absolutely in the country..... And as we are seeing now.

  40% of debt towards stocks does sound crazy. But you have to consider how much less developed the financial markets were then. There were less baskets to put investments into. Also, back then a lot of business value was based on product/services sold/delivered. In essence the profit was real. Today it&apos;s mostly based on speculation - the theoretical money we might make later when whatever supposed product is so incredibly successful. Our modern markets are far more based on the public&apos;s impression/illusion.

Having something like Spotify now doesn&apos;t have the same tactile coolness of a physical device, but the convenience is outmatched.
