  Sammy you did a wonderful job on this podcast. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by it. I have been a great admirer of Sean for many years and to me they can change all the names they want but it will always be Quinns. The bottom line was, and I said it before, Sean Quinn would undoubtedly have revolutionised the banking system the same as he did with insurance and the big boys didn't want that! He was taken out by people above government.. they were the puppets.

  Sean Quinns businesses were taken out because they showed up how the insurance industry in Ireland were writing their own rules ,paying out billions in serial fraudel;ent claims they never contested or investigatede These issues were ignored by politicians and regulators at the expense of hard pressed clients whose evidence was often &nbsp;ignored &nbsp; Quinn &nbsp;too showed up the cement cartel at tjhe time that was protected in Dublin by a gang of pol;iticians who did not want their failings highlighed in public Since that the same people have sold out or gave away most of Irelands wealth for Nothing . Most people who lived in the Cavan Leitrim area we well aware of these issues and the people of Ireland are paying an insurance levy that has no bearing on what Quinn did &nbsp;It was used as another excuse to levy vunerable people and blame everyone except themselves

  I am very glad that this detail is emerging now. SQ&apos;s downfall was his lack of political cronies, something that makes him more worthy of respect, not less.

  I&apos;m trying to think back of the year but I think it was around 1999 when Sean Quinn was the first to insure me on my car which in return allowed me to travel further distances to work. It wasn&apos;t the corrupt government that gave me that opportunity. <br>I have no affiliation with Mr Quinn but I would like to say thank you.<br>I&apos;m over 20 years working in a state body now (sorry I meant attending 😅) and I know exactly how they operate when they are trying to get you.<br>Unfortunately rte and the other so-called independent media company has done a phenomenal job of brainwashing people for decades.<br><br>They may take your possessions <br>They may take your freedom <br>But they can never control your mind <br><br><br>Never make life easy for them and fight until the end <br><br>God bless

  He was a brilliant businessman but took a reckless gamble with Anglo that cost him and his family dearly. Unfortunately now his legacy is an insurance levy imposed on the irish people. It was a case of greed, much wants more.
