  let the outcomes speak for Carlos... although he complete the grand slam within a year, he also withdrew from 2 slams... what if carlos has to withdraw or failed to capture any slams?  Let us keep the tally on how many future slams he has to withdraw from or failed to lift the trophies... so after 7 yrs split by 2032, let us gauge how far Carlos will continue with his slams collection or failure to win...it is too early to count the eggs so let see how the eggs hatch out....so far the trajectory is not good.... he is out of 2 slams and maybe more for 2026 and his injury is more devastating then we are alluding...anyway best of luck going forward and since Carlos is 23, he has to live with the consequence of his decision -good or bad...how far can carlos push his injured body and how much adjustments to his hard hitting strokes that he has to adapt.

  Carlos winning Australian Open actually belongs under Juan Carlos Ferrero’s column, not Samuel Lopez alone.  Why?  Because the split occurred within a month of the tournament.  Carlos needed to thank Ferrero for his AO win.  It was disappointing that he never acknowledged that obvious point.  Also remember, Carlos & Ferrero’s team were starting to prepare for the new season when the bomb was dropped.  Carlos will never be the same now after that wrist injury, and his dad is guilty.
